Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

1. What we sell, and why refunds are limited

Each Lead List is a digital, custom-compiled deliverable prepared specifically for the Buyer's chosen country, city/region, and business category. Once compiled and delivered as a CSV file, the work cannot be "returned." For this reason, all sales are final after delivery, subject to the exceptions below. This policy is conspicuously disclosed on every checkout page.

2. Before delivery, full refund window

You may cancel your order and receive a 100% refund at any time before we deliver the Lead List by email. To cancel, email hello@dropsite.hu with your order number. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, usually within 5-10 business days.

3. California orders, automatic refund

The Service is not available to California residents and does not cover California businesses. If we determine that an order originates from a California resident or targets businesses located in California, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund, and we will not deliver the Lead List. See our Terms of Service for details.

4. Delivery failure, refund or re-delivery

If we do not deliver your Lead List within 4 business days of cleared payment, you may either (a) extend the delivery window with our consent, or (b) cancel for a full refund. This is consistent with the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, 16 CFR Part 435, which requires that if a seller cannot ship within the originally promised time (or 30 days if no time is stated), the seller must notify the buyer and offer a prompt refund.

5. After delivery, limited refunds

Once a Lead List is delivered, refunds are only granted in the following cases:

(a) Empty or corrupt file. If the CSV is empty, unreadable, or contains fewer than 50% of the Leads ordered. Contact us within 5 calendar days of delivery; we will first attempt to re-deliver. If we cannot re-deliver a usable file within 3 business days, we will refund 100%.

(b) Wrong scope. If the Lead List does not match the country, city/region, or category you specified at checkout (and the mismatch is not de minimis). Same 5-day window. We will first attempt to re-deliver.

(c) Statutory rights. Where applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction grants you a non-waivable refund right, those rights are not affected by this policy.

6. What is NOT refundable after delivery

  • The Lead List did not generate the sales, replies, or business outcomes you hoped for.
  • Some emails bounced or some phone numbers were disconnected (we expect typical deliverability of public business contact data and you accept that as part of the nature of the data, see Section 7 of the Terms).
  • You changed your mind, found a different vendor, or no longer need the data.
  • You did not read or understand the Acceptable Use Policy or the compliance obligations described in our Terms.
  • You used the Lead List for outreach and received complaints, blocks, or legal threats from recipients.
  • You decided not to use the file.

7. Chargebacks

We take chargebacks seriously. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us is a breach of these Terms. We will defend chargebacks with evidence of delivery, acceptance of Terms, and the Lead List delivered. Repeat or fraudulent chargebacks may result in account termination, blacklisting from future purchases, and recovery of costs under Section 12 of the Terms of Service.

8. EU consumer right of withdrawal (if applicable)

EU/EEA consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU for distance contracts. However, that right does not apply to "the supply of digital content not on a tangible medium if performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal" (Article 16(m)). By placing an order and ticking the consent box at checkout, you (i) expressly request that we begin compiling your Lead List immediately and (ii) acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once we begin work. The order page will display this disclosure prominently.

9. How to request a refund

Email hello@dropsite.hu with the subject "Refund Request," your order number, the email address used to order, and a description of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
